Starmilk is overtly other worldly, dating from 1980 but where could this celestial music take us as a species?

My Sonic Shapes (healing tones) are also from another world, these are healing tones I evolved in the 80s where dynamically changing mathematical patterns are made into subtly transforming tones that can fill the room. in 1983 I came across these, but found I was way off the map.

I developed Harmonic Mathematics which as well as the Sonic Shapes tones I applied HM to melodic vortices as I call them (loops that gradually change in magical ways), with suites of pieces such as Number Rays, Bubbles and Silverstream, and also dynamically moving colour changing computer graphic art……

I suffered some amount of creative identity crisis for a while as this was SO different from writing scores by hand and playing the piano. Psychologically also this was and is painful because no-one to this day (well ok 2 friends) really understands just how powerful, beautiful and versatile harmonic mathematics is.

Harmonic Mathematics could well be from an extraterrestrial civilsation. (The original impetus was from the late wonderful computer-film maker John Whitney’s “Differential Dynamics” but with the help and support of some friends this was rapidly developed further. When I was coming to the end of writing the software for the first melodic version of HM, I could hear entities making some sounds very like the music that later resulted. A healer friend heard a new sound I created in 2011 with 1000s of harmonics, and he said he didn’t feel that that sound originated from our culture, it felt from somewhere else.

Folk have described ‘hearing” celestial music in sleep or out of body experiences, it does seem similar to my work, but in those experiences, the base of consciousness itself has or is musicality, so there is listening with a greater mirror into the subjective, into feelings, folk hear themselves to some extent. It has to be heard as celestial to be celestial.

Other possibilities involve music from crystals, where one could pick up fine vibrations and convert them to tones, computers already utilize crystal oscillations in their timing circuitry, but only as pulse triggers for the “heartbeat” of computers’ central processors.

I often try to glean what cultures ETs might have. If they are telepathic then music may serve a more ambient function, as communing with the creative work of others would not require acoustic sound. There may be ways to create on deeper levels of energy, in order to interface mind with artistic energies. Talking of which…….
