Music composed for saz, mostly 1973-6

The music arose in part through playing for meditation for Beshara and Irina Tweedie’s sufi groups, 1973-9.

Playing for meditation means confronting one’s internal noise, very challenging, and very insightful.

This second saz heard here was bought on my behalf by a dervish in Istanbul in the 1990s.
